A year at our school

KROP- Kids Rapt On Performing

What a privilege it was for West Wyalong Public School students to take the stage at Griffith Regional Theatre along side almost 400 students and perform at 3 sold-out shows.

Our kids roared onto stage with their fun and energetic performance of ‘Roar’, made famous by Katy Perry

West Wyalong Public School celebrated the 25^th National Simultaneous Storytime along with 2.3 million people in over 21,000 locations across Australia. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously all around Australia. This fun event aims to promote the value of reading and literacy. The book chosen this year for National Simultaneous Storytime was “The Truck Cat” by Deborah Frenkel and Danny Snell.

The Resilience Project (TRP) program aims to build resilience and happiness. The program focuses on promoting emotional literacy and positive emotion, specifically: Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness (GEM). TRP offers a whole-of-school-community approach, and involves students, school staff and parents/carers

School Sports Funding, provides quality coaching by approved providers. Things like Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Tennis, Athletics, Netball, AFL, NRL.
