Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.

Kindness Pledge and Welcome BBQ

Annually we hold a Kindness Pledge Ceremony. Students and Staff all make a pledge to choose kind, own their part, and develop a sense of belonging at WWPS.

That evening a welcome BBQ is held at our school for parents and carers to join in on the pledge, meet their child's teacher, see their classroom and celebrate together as a whole school community. Always a great night not to be missed.

Harmony Day

Harmony Day celebration included hanging ribbons in a tree to show that we all belong at West Wyalong Public School. Students dressed in bright colours and read stories from our library around the theme "we all have a role to play".
