Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Joining our School Parents & Citizens (P & C) Association is a wonderful way to connect, contribute, and make a positive impact on your child’s educational experience. The P & C brings together parents, carers, and staff to support and enhance school programs, organise fun events, and advocate for our students’ needs.

By getting involved, you’ll meet other families, have a voice in important school decisions, and help create a vibrant, supportive learning environment. Whether you can lend a hand at events or share ideas at meetings, your involvement makes a difference!

P&C meetings

Our P & C meet on a Tuesday afternoon in the school Library. Representatives from the school staff are always present. Meetings are advertised in the school newsletter and on our Facebook page.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• getting involved in the P&C
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
